The 2009 Seacoast Amateur Golf Championship was a wonderful success, despite the heavy rains that preceded the event. This years event was won by Nick Kalil of Portsmouth Country Club with an even par score of 213. The Tony Loch Trophy was won by Neil Kelley of Portsmouth Country Club with a nine over par score of 222. Portsmouth Country Club won the Kay Stulb Trophy with a score of 646.
Pease Golf Course played host to the first round and the leaders after the first round were Neil Kelley and Nick Kalil with scores of 69.
Wentworth by the Sea Country Club hosted the second round under foggy conditions in the afternoon. Low rounds of the day were shot by Doug Briggs and Eric Recher with 70.
The Ledges Golf Club played host to the final 48 players under mild rain in the morning and overcast skies for the rest of the day. Low round of the day was Craig Steckowych who shot 69.
