31st Annual Seacoast Amateur Championship – Entry Form
June 24 – Portsmouth CC.; June 25 – York Golf & Tennis.; June 26 – The Oaks GC. Entry Fee - $ 125.00 – Entries Must Be Postmarked by May 20, 2011
The championship is open to players who are active, current-year, dues paying members in good standing at one of the following Seacoast area clubs: Abenaqui, Breakfast Hill, Cochecho, Exeter, Farmington, Ledges, Nippo Lake, Oaks, Outlook, Pease, Portsmouth, Rochester, Rockingham, Sunningdale, Wentworth or York. Players must have a current USGA handicap index of 5.9 or less as determined by the New Hampshire Golf Association or the Maine Golf Association using the USGA/GHIN service. The Committee will consider entries from non-members of these clubs who can prove they play the majority of their golf at one of the listed clubs and meet the handicap index requirements. Non-member entrants must submit with their entry form a letter from a PGA Professional from one of the eligible clubs stating the applicant maintains a valid and current handicap at the listed club and played a minimum of twenty-five rounds at the club during the previous season.
Tournament Entry Policy The field will be limited to ninety players and be filled as follows: · The top fifteen finishers and ties from the previous year’s tournament will be exempt. · The Tournament Champion will receive a five year exemption. · The Tony Loch Senior Champion will receive a one year exemption. · Players with one of the three lowest handicap indexes from each of the eleven host clubs will be eligible, pending a Committee review of past performance. Players from the top fifteen and champion’s categories will count as One of the three low indexes. The index on the day the entry form is received by the Committee will be used. · The Committee will reserve up to ten spots to be awarded to applicants who do not qualify under the above provisions. The Committee will use these spots to ensure the strongest possible field. The decision of the Committee will be final. The balance of the field will be randomly drawn by lottery. Players will be notified of their entry and starting time by mail. Starting times will also be published on the website www.seacoastamgolf.org and in Foster’s Daily Democrat.
Cut: The final day’s play will be limited to the low forty-eight and ties. Carts: Please Note: Player's have priority in the use of carts. Others who wish to ride along do so ONLY on a space available basis. Players must make their own arrangements for carts or caddies.

Clubs will compete for the Kay Stulb Memorial team championship. Senior golfers (age 55+) will compete for the Tony Loch Trophy.
The purpose of the championship is to determine the best player in the Seacoast and therefore the Committee reserves the right to accept players to ensure the strongest field possible. Committee decisions on entry eligibility are final.
